She has a BFA in theater and speech from Anderson University and furthered her education at the Vancouver Film School in British Columbia. She is a member of the house improv team at the Laugh factory and just finished voiceovers for a new Nintendo Wii game. She is extremely proud to see her dream of Bodega theater co. as a reality. Last summer's Bodega production, Melville Boys, can only be topped by these people on this stage with her now. Ridiculous amounts of love and gratitude to her partner in crime Jenny Reagan, and the glue AKA Jon Michael Johnson, Darren, James, Tim and Vicki Jane, and Jesus.
Garr Grayson (Sparger) received a BFA in acting from the University of Kentucky. He has been seen on stages in Chicago, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Kentucky and New York City. He has been in productions of The Colored Museum, Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love, Six Degrees of Separation, Fences, Cabaret and has appeared in several independent films. A very sprecial thank you to Callie, Jen and JJ.
Tim Mele is extremely pleased to be working in The Bodega Theater Company's production of Kennedy's Children. Tim has been acting in New York for three years and can be seen in Assassination of a High School President (Sundance Film Festival). He is proud to be a part of a dramatic work that proves relevant in the most trying of times. He would like to thank everyone in the audience for supporting the delicate, though ever-present, network of independent theater
productions which continue, each in their own way, to enrich the culture of the city.
Byron Meyer (Bartender/Technician) has been involved in theater since he was 10, both onstage and behind the scenes. He moved to NYC two years ago to attend the Circle in the Square Theater School. Recent roles include Henry in the indie film The Scoundrel, which is currently in post-production. Byron was the lighting designer for The Melville Boys, and is happy to be working with The Bodega Theater Company on Kennedy’s Children.
Jenny Reagan's (Wanda) first role ever was as Stanley Stutz the perfect klutz in her 5th grade class play. Since then she has played a variety of roles, some of her favorites include Mrs. Kendal in The Elephant Man Kate Keller in The Miracle Worker, and Ata in Criminal Hearts with the Boston Actors Theater. She was lucky to travel and perform for The Hampstead Stage Company last Spring and has since settled in NYC. She hails from MA, and went to school at Umass Amherst. Jenny is happy to be working with such an awesome cast for Kennedy's Children. She thanks Callie for being an amazing friend and helping to make the Bodega Theater Company real. She also wants to thanks Darren and JJ, but most of all, thanks to Mum, Daddy-o and Jon for their constant love and support.
Alison Whitney (Carla) is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts: Stella Adler Acting Studio. Since graduating, Alison has been busy acting in New York City stage, film and TV productions. She starred in films such as Cluster (with Corey Feldman), Polycarp (with Charles Durning) and Bacterium.
